Eternity

We are all here today
But somebody told us
We wont be here for long
Because we are all going to be gone

Death is something we must face
Except for me, I have it
Its hard to find but
I think I’ve found eternal life

I feel invisible
I don’t need this anymore
I have the potential
Now look at me

Do you feel envious
You really shouldn’t
Because this thing you call eternal
Is a disease, a sickness
I have to life with

See my loved ones pass
And then when they are gone
I will have no one
No one to love, No one to hold

I sold myself for eternity
And now I wonder what
The hell is going on
The world is coming to its demise

And no one can stop it but me
For I have the disease
I can save you all
But maybe If it’s the end of the world

Then this disease will die with me
For you see I can’t take it anymore
I need to see you again
The future I cant keep up with

But you I would learn anything for you
As I lay down in bed
I remember the good times and the bad times
I do not wish you had my disease

Because I love you too much
I know what you want
And its me dead
I wish I could help
I don’t pray but I have started asking to be killed
To be freed from this disease
I have tried the knifes, the guns

It just don’t work
And still I’m waiting
For something good to happen
Maybe I’ll see you someday

It's very nice, I like the way you've decided not to use rhyming couplets giving it a different feel than seeming forced in anyway although this also makes the flow stutter a bit, but I like the sentiment et al involved, Yep I quite like it

Thats an interesting idea, it could probably end up really muddled but lol, we could give it a go sometime
