Standing in the hallways
Your always there
Smiling, reassuring
Your arms feel so real

Amazing how time flies
After our brief reunion
I'll never forget that day
A year passes on
Why did I wait so long?
These dreams keep coming
I'm desperate for answers
I wake up, take the bus
I tried to find you
But its too late
"For Sale" sign in front
Makes my heart drop
Left a note on your doorstep
Maybe you'd get it or not

It always make me sad
To think I waited too long
I need to make this a reality
I can only dream for so long
In your eyes, its determination
In my mind, its realization
What it's come down to
