Departure Lacks the Tyranny (What Did It)
-----------------------------------------
the vulnerable immunity flushed through the city
for once in my life confidence ran with me
as the time spun numbers, but i stood still
felt a lack of the past as the now felt real
went to a place that one cannot see
even if you could, it's harder to belive
this life can be fair - even be free
departure lacks the tyranny

in view red lookin' faded and dead - perhaps you're just underfed
of being hot and sticky, salty when licking, the burn that's weakening in the depths of my head

found shelter false pride
you can hate my humor, but not my smile
as reward i've given the last of my style
roll over enough, a grave below and above
only because i walked away once did i ever find love
so with that done searching, i'll still leave alone
departure lacks the tyranny

good evening white - such a sight tonite as your skin it cracks and tears down your sides
but on our last verse, you left a little wild and me to control my path and its winds

future's own, a question to hone in on
always got back up for stranded ideas
thousands of thoughts far from the source
just right did balance follow its own course
so it's good to capture something of heaven
but weak to make any god safe haven
then common is hell - tastes like unleeaded
departure lacks the tyranny

thanks again green for in use sparingly like cash money monopoly my pieces are clean
What Did It - quite simple, the loss of a friend, luckily the face of the earth has not witnessed his end

Dedicated to death bear

Thans O2 for encouraging me to post this. This is the only sequel poem I've ever written, the thread/post is gone, but it was: Itali Crest in the Set of Slave. Once again, this poem is about the same friend from before (this one is about the last time I got to talk to him, before he left - I still don't really know where either). I dedicate it to death bear cause he reminds me of that friend (at least in context, like what I've read/observed/soaked-in). That friend to me was my escape from the repetition of life. His comedy and humor were just the change of mind I would need to think clearly. Dare to be naive - a quote I read today. Yeah, my friend drove people nuts, but he was in his own blissful world, and I envied him. db - thanks, may god save the queen
