Foadie
War Child
Can black be darker
Can white be brighter
When red may be the brightest color of them all
When blue may be the darkest
White steals light from the air
Black pulls emotions forth
When green may be the heaviest
When purple may be the smallest
Reminding us of ourselves, the colors wrap us in thought
Spinning and tossing us away from our minds
Charming us away from love
Throwing us into hatred
It makes me laugh, the way they step off the edge
Falling so freely in that blue and purple tossed sky
Crashing below; they lay broken and bent in reds and blacks
Until I wish I could follow.
