Surrender fall unto it’s knees
As crumbling ground rots underfoot
the clocks clockwork will halt abrupt

She said my cry was pride not weep
The joyous shrill, earths air I breathe
And so I cry my weep once more
The haunting shrill, the silent war

i think the second stanza is excellent.
