Bad

It leaves you breathless,
it leaves you speechless
soaring and searing
into your soul
like an out of body experience.
Yet mere mortals wrote this,
so young and so passionate.

He's right you know -
sometimes God does walk through the room -

into the half light,
into the day.

Who said that U2 are mortals?

That's a great tribute to one of my top-5 U2 fave's!

Wow cool! I just wrote a poem about Bad myself (http://forum.interference.com/u2feedback/Forum15/HTML/001046.html), I didn't notice this till now.

a defining U2 moment..will go down as one of their finest..can relate to all you wrote..especially when listening to the new level it reached during Live Aid

Are these poems called bad just as a tribute?

I mean I just told skeek I thought his poem deserved its own name. I feel like I should say the same thing here, but maybe Im just missing the whole point.

It is a nice poem!
