In my leather pants
Forshadowing the fear
under an unborn moon,
How carelessly she wakes from her rippled bed
and walks a thousand powdered steps
until she graces her ambivalence;
makes peace with her lonliness cross to bear,
touches tip to tip with the wooden doors
that cage her manipulated face.

Like a fortress of the dawn on an ever awaking day,
Silence the keeper of her sanity's bloom
death shriek rattles into a beat
beat, beat

Repentence cry and untrue to her reason for living;
reason for dying,
outcast by a dozen laughing scars,
the guilty pleasures now fade away unto her freeless rock.
Between muffled yawns and amber moons
she fills her heart up in blossom's bloom,
until the waking calls around again
and the wailing of the dawn restores her mend.

I don't know why but I had images of a woman trapped in a mediaeval castle while reading this.

"rippled bed", "powdered steps" -- very good!

I got the same feeling foray...
I often get that with your writing Manda, there's just something about the way you put words together that makes such a mystery out of it, it's haunting..that's the right word.
you are such a beautiful poet
