I live very close to Williamsport and this latest incident has been all over the news with reporters outside the school and interviewing students, teachers, etc. Media coverage of these events leaves a sour taste in my mouth.
Anyway, popkid, I agree something has gone terribly wrong. We're not, as a society, bringing up our children very well. Obviously, despite our tendency to point fingers, there are many factors that go into each case. It's like all the negative things about the way we live (some nearly undectable or seemingly harmless) have to come out somewhere - unfortunately coming out in our children. They're paying the price for things that I'm not sure we even realize we purchased.
