BABY, WE'RE GOING TO NASHVILLE! 7/2/11 <3
I've decided to take a break from other...er..."writings" to create a *gasp* POEM! Anyways, something personal has been bothering me in my everyday life and what does one do during times of agony? Write it in a form in which no one in their right minds can understand!

Right, here it is. Take it easy on me. This is my first attempt at an Ode and I haven't written a poem in over three years.

I begin adrift, in a foundation of disorganized aspiration;
Into unknown walls; lost within barricades of
Measured strides towards criminal splendor of imagination.
A voice, an echoed hum of melodious poetry, above
All the chaos spindled in the air; knotted weaves
Of subconscious dignity that would never show
In waking time. Come! Greet me in the harmony of the night;
The wind a waltz, twirling; the green of the leaves
Circle, spiraling upwards the skies. The moon above aglow:
Glistening in your azure eyes strangely magnificent and bright.

Gloriously time settles in like an unknown stranger;
Time: beauty displayed at its very finest.
The soul naked, exposed; disguised as an exchanger
For the non-existence of time. And, you, the kindest
Form of forbidden longing: Merely a vision, a kiss, a hand;
A breeze from the North; a scent of rescue;
A stroke of zeal. Veracity cannot seize this; cannot stealth
Or break into the mind, take with it away this promised land;
A private creation; a landscape of stars and roads askew;
Hearts still, veins flowing; whispers worth more than wealth.

Continuing adrift; a massive radius of confessions unsaid;
Your essence bewitching, like music that shapes the soul;
Your skin a remedy; an enchantment to bring thee back from the dead.
Oh! Yes, thy words of poetry; a tongue of parable
More intoxicating than that of thousands Shakespearian men.
Astonishing tales of first hand lust;
A desperate plea for my own in return. Only here, where I’m protected;
Inside a private sanctuary in which I can visit again and again,
Will I say to you, in a tone of blistering rust;
Narratives; fables that could never be deceased or wrongfully affected.

Time makes itself at home; a roaring shore of peaceful tides.
And as the moon elevates higher; cluster of stars
Bedazzle along the contours of your eyes.
It is here that we are eternally bound; behind the bars
Of unmarked territory of a thoughtless psyche. At long last
We embrace.
A warmth consumes my still bones; heat rioting;
Eyelids rapidly fluttering; heartbeat thundering and fast.
Darkness enfolds us inside clouds of lace;
Crisp summer draft; a chaotic world quieting.

You won’t vanish, never will you go astray;
At nighttime, a haunting shadow in the corners;
A brightness - a sun - during smoldering days.
During a need to flee, never shall we be foreigners
In this paradise I’d constructed; just for us, a perfected shell
of paradox. Receive my soul while it sheds it’s skin
To mold and melt every curve of your being; your
luminous aura. Never utter “Farewell,”
In this fortress. In the fairytale I had unconsciously written;
I shall meet you here, my darling, forever more.

Eh? :up::down:

EDIT: BTW, this is NOT in correct Ode format. For some reason IF won't add the indents. For those of you who read classic poetry, I'm sure you know where the correct indents are. ;)
