Smile, you're reading my post
abbledorn
and in elvin times
they seep and soak
on bitter dreams
among a castle's grave
the whittlers scream, a desert dlooming day

and fear not for the underworld
can shake on serafin trees
and beneath a smouldering earth
a starlight speckles
jumping to a night forest sky

carelessly she slinkers in by the moon
and past the littlehob suns
for her time to take her stand
in the land of jasper wails
where chillern, whispy and white
call out beyond the sea

faerie, oh light
becalled to seek those tripplin wands
of over flowing crystal sounds
that pierce the strongest of battled hearts,
make haste
lie here
bestill over wombs of mercy
until the dark and misty call
of Abbledorn shrieks
and the silent winds
do cackle upon their lusty leaves
to bring the dawning of
wingless time that awakens the dew lit moon...

Wow, I really like this. It reminds me less of Tolkien than of...something else...though. Little bit of Midsummer's Night's Dream, a bit of Edward Lear too (you know..the guy who wrote about the Jumblies and the Pobble Who Had No Toes and The Owl and the Pussycat.)

It's kind of 19th century, very evocative.
