Sour apples mashed under the frutescent trees,
like the broken glass beneath your soul sleeps
drink the oceans as they shower you with waves
let the Sun burn inside your heart before it fades
drop anchor if you feel yourself drifting away . . .
dance in the rain while the lightening shrieks
fall in love with a fleeting glimpse
speak with honesty before you speak your mind
stare at something beautiful until you are blind
kiss her lemon ozone goodbye
hesitate now before you . . . die
laugh at the wickedness in her eyes
embrace the sad, empty sky when it is blue
reach for the stars, they?re shining on you!

like that one scappy? I was going thru an old notebooks today from last year in college, and I found this, well, it was a little different than what is here now, but the foundation of the poem was there . . . I had probably scribbled it in one day during class and completely forgotten about it . . . I kind of like it!!! Though I'm surprised I wrote something like that last year, now that I look back . . .
