What's that song you almost hate to admit that you enjoy?

For me, it's N*E*R*D "She Wants to Move"

My friend just made me a compilation c.d. with a wide range of artists, and I find this song to be incredibly infectious... it's just so funky and makes me want to  :combust:

"[Intro - Pharrell Williams]
Shake it up.. shake it up girl
Shake it up.. bass
Hey! Shake it up.. shake it up

[Verse - Pharrell Williams (Shae)]
She makes me think of lightning in skies
(Her name) She's sexy!!
How else is God supposed to write
(Her name) She's sexy!!
Move, she wants to move
But you're hogging her, you're guarding her
She wants to move (she wants to move)
She wants to move (she wants to move)
But you're hogging her, you're guarding her (damn!)

[Chorus - Pharrell Williams (Shae)]
Mister! Look at your girl, she loves it!
(Look at her) I can see it in her eyes
She (come here babe) hopes this lasts forever, Hey!!..."

ok, there, I said it! Go easy on me :uhoh: so what's yours?

I love Take on Me by A-ha. :uhoh:

Talking away
I don't know what I'm to say
I'll say it anyway
today's another day to find you
Shying away
I'll be coming for you love O.K.

Take on me
Take me on
I'll be gone
in a day or two

So needless to say I'm odds and ends
But that's me, stumbling away
Slowly learning that life is O.K.
Say after me
It's no better to be safe than sorry.

Take on me
Take me on
I'll be gone
in a day or two.

The things that you say
Is it live or just to play
My worries away
You're all the things I've got to remember
You shying away
I'll be coming for you anyway

Take on me
Take me on
I'll be gone
in a day or two

i tried to come up with something i'm ashamed to admit, but the best i could do was U2-Mercy. i don't think it's amazing or anything but i do like it. and it gets blasted alot on here.

does that count?

 is that a joke? The Mercy love is relentless on this board!! Atleast I thought so... eh, I'm going to say that this does not count. Reach deep within, I'm sure you're just itching to confess your undying love for [insertcringe-worthysonghere]

no, i'm not joking! i've seen it bashed all the time on here. we must visit different parts of the forum.

um i'm a guy so is, james taylor - fire and rain a guilty pleasure? ;)

Well, I like loads of songs from across the board, but the only song that I like that makes me feel a bit self-conscious is 'Total Eclipse of the Heart', considering how it is almost REQUIRED for anyone listening to blast it and scream along.

Giorgio Moroder and Phil Oakey - Together In Electric Dreams

"We'll always be together
However far it seems
(Love never ends)
We'll always be together
Together in Electric Dreams"

Total Eclipse and Take on Me are good songs, nothing to be ashamed of there!

I have a ton that would fit this category. For starters, Spice Girls - Wannabe.

It's a fun song! Girl power!

I like "lapdance" by NERD

I don't really know if I have any guilty pleasures. I sure enjoy making a fool of myself in the car, howling "my coco" from stellastarr...its more the things I do while listening to music than the music itself

I guess some might make fun of me for the christian music I listen to

I like that Kelly Clarkson song about spreading wings and flying away.

The Pink song where she asks the Dr to give her drugs or something. Danger to Myself maybe? Something like that.

I like a lot of real bad crap.

I quite enjoy Pink's "Just Like a Pill" or whatever it's called, way too much. And oh, the "Lady Marmalade" remake all those ladies did.

Timmy T's "One More Try" is a biggie too.

Ooooooooooh I love "One More Try"! Such a beautiful song. And Pink's song is called "Just Like A Pill" and Kelly Clarkson's is "Breakaway". Sorry listen to the radio a lot, hehe.

My guilty pleasure song would have to be "Living On A Prayer" by Bon Jovi. Whenever me and my best friend are together in the car we turn it up loud and sing away to it

I like that song.. and it has one of the best videos i've seen

"High Enough" -- Damn Yankees

(one of the greatest memories of my life was driving around campus just after finals, really stoned, with the windows down and that song playing at full volume)

(and, somehow, "behind these hazel eyes" has found it's way onto my gym playlist :reject:)

Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic- Sting and the Police
Shape of my Heart- Backstreet Boys
Many Disney movie soundtracks
Many musicals
