he had me at ribulose-5-phosphate carboxylase

actually he's not that good looking. but he is a good professor... and his British accent

:hyper:

My chem lab prof was HOT! and he somehow had a PhD but was younger than 30....and he loved U2....and let me do experiments with explosive acid....oh lord, if THAT wasn't the worst sexual innuendo I've ever said....someone stop me and make me STUDY :crack:

Yesterday, I came to a conclusion that one of the reasons I did so well in school always is that I had crushes on several teachers.

I had a crush on one of my English teachers in high school. once I asked him for a pity hug because I was having a horrible day... and he actually gave me a hug :faint:

:hyper:

Word of warning - if the guy with the Chemistry PhD who sits next to you at work asks you to do a search on 'clipart explosion' - dont. The manager of computing services will visit and give you THAT porn talk. :|

Yep, I have quite a ramble in this forum from a few years ago about my English lit prof...again, not entirely attractive, British :)drool:), great teacher, plus he plays drums in a punk/garage band! The last night I was in my college town (July) we sat at the bar, smashed, talking about music, and he actually came to my apartment later to check out some of my U2 goodies :reject:

heh, lies...your chem prof was hot...he's teaches the chem engineering class right before my organic

my mom knows him ...they were in the same professor seminar group...

my organic chem profs are hilarious, and a lot of fun...but in their 60s...

my bio prof is a woman (i'm sure all the guys are attracted to her though, she's cute and young).

[/rambling]

The crush who stars in most of my journal entries...is a chemistry professor. :cute: He has an Eastern European accent though, which makes him incredibly hard to understand when he gives me private lectures on plant cell walls, or the aerobic respiration of glucose. But I love his accent.

I had a really hot American history professor--rather Jeremy Northam-esqe. The first day of class, some girl asked if he was married and when he said yes, half the class dropped. I stayed...he was a good professor too, but a bit hard to get along with.

One of my spanish tutors always walks me from class to my next class because we are going in the same direction he has even offered me extra private classes if I was having difficulty, I thought he might have asked other people but nope he hasnt. He really creeps me out. :| :crack:

My high school speech teacher was dreamy! He was only about 30 and very good-looking. He had longish dark hair (long for a teacher, anyway), a killer smile and a great sense of humor. :sexywink: :sigh: I was heartbroken when I didn't get him for American Lit the following year.

All my college professors, on the other hand, were middle-aged and homely.

I never had one single hot professor

I did have an English teacher in HS who used to always stare at me and she even called me aside after class one day to discuss it. It was nothing like that, the discussion  She was actually very nice about it, but at the time it was extremely awkward and uncomfortable. She just said things like...it would be a problem for me w/ male professors in college, which unfortunately it never was ;)

Ugh, this post sounded like "bragging" or being stuck on myself. It's not like things like that always happen to me..more like never...
