i dont like answering machines.

i am not referring to the act of leaving a message on a machine but the physical presence of them.
those little rectangular boxes bug me.

my cell phone has an 'answering machine' but there is no little rectangular box attached.
my office has an 'answering machine' but there is no little rectangular box in there.

thats why they bug me.

You could also have a Bono message to greet your callers.

its like "Hello"......everytime i ring him i'm like "Hello?"

and then relise that i've got the machine

we used to have the simpsons answering maching play to our callers..that was funny

"hello you've reached the home of whoever your calling, we've gone out for (umm i cant reemeber that bit) please leave a message after the beep......beep DOH"

I dont really know things.

Except that I hate answering machines including my own so dont ever bother leaving a message cos I wont hear it anyway. I have 9 messages on mine at the moment.
