Picked up my brand spanking new Saturn VUE today at noon.

At 7:00pm I used the windshield wiper stick as a gear shift.

stick broken.... wires showing.... wipers stuck in the on position...


kids in the back seat

20 minutes later guys at Saturn

At least they got them turned off.

Saturn has it today for a detail cleaning and to fix the broken part.

Not that I have any excuses.... for my stupidity, but I think I have figured out the problem. My mother had a white van for 10 years and it had a shift on the steering column, so since my VUE is white and sits up high, I am having flashbacks of driving her van.
