a crazy out of control addiction
and i just just purchased a new digital camera and am loving it!
Ive loved taking photographs since I was about 8.
Im one of those people who is known to be on the look out for cause Im always sticking a camera in someone's face. Typical though, I hate having my own taken hehe
i have a pretty good Canon automatic camera, a video camera, now a Canon digital and I've been researching for a while now to finally get the long awaited SLR I've been wanting for years now.
I tinker around on my grandfather's old one and have been waiting a long time to get my own.
Alas, I bought a digital and now I can't stop. They are too good!!!

I'm just learning how to use it at the mo, and have been playing around tonight. Here's my baby with a spaghetti face sitting in some mandamess...

I have a kodak digicam and I it....

Thou the only problem is the cost of printing the pictures.

I can print them here at home but the color ink for my printer is costly.

I can take my disk to a photo lab and have them printed off, which is a bit cheaper, but still no bargin.

Manda... I rememeber you posting some great pics in Dream out Loud I think it was way back - I remember them specifically because of one of a little girl taken in black and white.

I love SLRs... it's what I used for my concert pics. I started off with a Canon Rebel... which I loved but I continuously had problems with it , it had to be repaired 3 times before I finally just gave up and got a Nikon instead. I hope to get into a darkroom someday and learn how to develop my own.

the pictures I have seen that you have done are really good tho mands, and i dont think youve taken classes. you have natural talent and if u really enjoy it you should pursue it.

Yes, many people have taken to calling me SIR lately (on this forum and other areas).... and I'm quite female! Anywho... I have TONS of pictures lying around at home, and I never think to scan them. Not to mention about 100 rolls that still need to be developed. I should probably get cracking one of these days!
