I wore regular shoes to work today!

Doo-dah, doo-dah.
I wore regular shoes to work today,
Oh ma doo-dah day. :dance:

Okay, so I've been limited to tennis shoes since before my surgery due to the painful neuroma, in addition to the bunions. Doc said I could wear regular shoes if'n I had support enough to keep in the spacer that's between my left big toe and index toe.

So I wore my Dexters that finally fit because the swelling went down. Sure the parts of my feet that weren't strapped in swelled up like little flesh-colored balloons, and they hurt a bit, and I had to put my tennis shoes back on after the kids went home,

BUT

I wore regular shoes to work today
Doo-dah!!!!!

funny I was in town and looking at those thongs with the pretty pink roses..
( umm I hope you realise in Australia "thongs" are summer footwear, "flip flops" "jandals" I'm not sure what you call them in the USA) But not for me yet, they are pretty...so I know what you mean :up:
