I look for cover songs on youtube

You know, the ones where people sit in front of the webcam and record themselves playing a song? I actually kind of like some of them.

Really? I've never ben a fan of those because it seems that often the person singing is kinda hamming it up - like they know they're talented, but they feel the need to make silly faces of emotional connection with the song, when it's really sorta cheesy to begin with - and that kinda annoys me.

Or are you talking about something else?

No, that's exactly what I'm talking about. I never said that they weren't incredibly hammy. They are. And somehow I don't care.

I watch covers too, especially guitar video so I get an idea how the song is played properly.

I do that, and have recorded some in the past. Fun stuff, even if it's completely pointless.
