if i were a guy i would hate to do that too. thank goodness for doors, but i do find it uncomfortable when you are peeing and someone wants to strike up a conversation with you are in the next urinal.

One of my oddest experiences ever was standing at a urinal in Tokyo and looking over to notice a woman was cleaning the one directly next to me. I nearly wet myself.

I guess that's something normal that happens lots in Japan, it only happened to me once.
