I bought a domain name last year, which has its own email address....but I only check it about once a month because all I ever get is spam (there's no filter because I own the domain name--and not hosted anywhere).

So I checked it just this week. I had nearly 12,000 (yep, that's twelve thousand!) emails in my inbox - 75 mg!!! All spam. Is that sad or what???????? :scream:

Do spammers EVER make money by bugging the crap out of the cyber public??? I sure would like to know cos I certainly get enough of it. :madspit:

I want to know this too!!! Do those bastards ever make sales from spam? Somebody somewhere is buying their stuff, or spamming wouldn't be cost effective. If people wouldn't buy the stuff spammers sell, they'd stop doing it.

ARGHH!  :scream:

Dave Barry says it best... "Why are there so many e-mail ads for these products? Does anybody buy them? Is there a town somewhere, called Spamville, where the men consume Viagra and pornography in bulk quantities, then lurch around in a lust-crazed frenzy, their huge artificially enhanced endowments knocking holes in their walls, so eventually their houses fall down, forcing them to purchase new ones, using low-interest mortgages?"
