So I was hooded for my PhD today...

I'm not on here much anymore, but for those of you who remember, I was admitted to Lehigh University's English PhD program back in 2010.

Today, I was hooded and tomorrow I will officially be Dr. Cash. Despite the severe expression, I was quite happy in this moment:

In other news, I was offered a tenure-track job at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, so I'm walking out of a doctoral program into an Assistant Professor position, which is unheard of. And we are having our first baby in August.

So life is nuts, but in the best way possible. I was too happy not to share here.
