I got a new lens today. I still need a monopod and a lens tube for it (right now I have a black ring around my pic unless I zoom in, so I have to crop) but it's fun to play around with.

Not quite so lovely, but we had a big storm roll in earlier

Most dogs are terrified of thunder and lightening; mine couldn't care less! lol

Seagull growth update, for the multitudes of inquiring minds! The pic above (posted earlier) was taken approximately three weeks ago.


Three weeks later....these guys are certainly taking their vitamins!

I think this woman is guilty of venturing a little too close to the nest, paying the ultimate price.

Very surreal...was there a storm brewing? Looks ominous, and amazing, all in one. Stephen Spielberg would love that location.

I just got back from an incredible trip to the west coast of Newfoundland...these are taken in Burgeo, along the southwest coast. The weather wasn't as sunny as we'd hoped it would be...but, even on a "bad" day, this place has an otherworldly feel that's very special and hard to describe.

A stingray! First time I've seen one here...I ended up taking about 30 pictures out of sheer excitement.

Once you follow this trail to the end....

...you end up here: Pasadena Beach. I practically lived down here as a kid.
