What is this? Time machine time. Are single men walking in the spirit of boyfriend, and are their preachers telling them what they're doing wrong that they're still single?

i do too! he was pretty radical for sure, talking to the Samaritan woman for example

it makes me sad to see such pressure to marry in the church - i've lost count of the number of old friends who married young, well, married the wrong person i guess, under pressure and under pastoral guidance in this type of heavy evangelical setting, and ended up quite broken as people afterwards

I should have said is a feminist, for me it's an is. That's just my personal belief system. Jesus didn't patronize women the way some people who try to speak in His name do. I believe He also had complete respect for their intrinsic value that has zero to do with marrying a man.
