Let me ask you this, why do you think Trump thought calling Georgia (and other states that they haven't reported much on) and trying to turn 11,000 votes mattered if it was a LANDSLIDE for Biden?
He's going to get indicted for it, but the plan was based on the fact that if he could flip the votes, he'd win Georgia. I know I'm not alone in thinking this, but you guys and gals I think of as smart and good people -- and I just worry that you can't see the facts. This is why GOP wins often. Good people think logic works. Good people think Biden won in a landslide and will again. I wish it was that easy. Only 2 people can win. As a Pats fan let me tell you that 19-0 sounds good on paper. But real life you get 18-1. |

He did not. It's about electoral college not popular vote.
https://www.npr.org/2020/12/02/94068...the-presidency Also, people have short memories and even if Biden won by 99% in last election he can still lose in 2024. |

You're so focused on 2016 you're ignoring every other election. Here's another thing... The GOP? They're fucking broke. They're broke! The state organizations in these all important swing stats have no money. The national GOP is bleeding cash. Why? All of their money is going to trump's fucking legal defense. Honestly. They have no money. How do you run a ground campaign to win an election in close battle ground states with no money and no foundation? https://www.nationalreview.com/corne...ouch-cushions/ And yea, buddy's going to jail. |

I don't watch CNN. MSNBC doesn't talk much about this stuff, it's all about Trump going to jail which we know won't happen. It's not shock and horror. It's facts. I don't know where you are getting your info from? |

GOP -- is broke? That is the dumbest thing you've ever said. Congrats! I'm ignoring every other election? You make it sound like we won the house and control the Senate 75-25. We lost 3 SCOTUS seats. We kept the house close, but lost it. Manchin and Sinema are basically GOP LITE. in 2024 good chances GOP takes the Senate back. Maybe we get the House back. But if we lose the presidency, who cares? Best part is I bet we agree 99% on issues except we can't seem to agree Trump being the nominee is scary as fuck. |

FYI, I hope i'm wrong, Trump goes to jail today. But he hasn't even been fingerprinted or taken a mug shot because he's being treated better than any criminal in history.

Thank you. Again for our sake I hope the Democrats nominee (i assume Biden) wins, but it's now always very very close due to the system which is the electoral college, not popular vote. So 40 states don't really matter to start with.
If this was based on the entire country hitting a button on their phone for who should be in charge, yeah I think Biden wins easily popular vote. But we still live in a country where 50% of the people don't even fucking vote. And the other 50% is split almost evenly. It's depressing. And I hate most of the GOP candidates, but to think Trump is still their leader and going to get a chance to run (and hopefully lose) again to Biden is bad politics on their part. And scary to watch as a human. |

I can see the facts, no one thought that Trump could ever win in 2016 either. Be afraid, be very afraid. Hate to say it but I bet he doesn't go to prison either, dude gets away with everything.

If your baseless fear and outrage can bring out the voters, I'm all for it!

But like I said, I do like the outrage and hope that outrage influences the left to vote in waves because we also need to take back the House. The GOP uses boogeymen to drive votes all the time, so hey, if it works it works! |

Great job sitting it out headache? Aren't we still best friends? I didn't call you dumb. I said what you said was dumb. What are you stupid? Get it? Ask mikal to explain it to you.
You guys really believe the GOP is out of money? That's the argument? Okay. It's all Summer clickbait. Plenty of money for GOP candidates when we get to 2024. You are falling for the narrative.... so more people will give money to the GOP. Same way they attack Biden and send out fundraiser emails. It's all scare tactics from the right. Trump is bankrupt on paper too. That's how rich people do it. You believe the same things you told me NOT to believe from news. It's great! |

Barbie is a great movie. I enjoyed it. Greta is amazing talent. Margot is top notch. It's not a political movie -- that's so annoying. It's just a movie that has a strong female POV, so it must be making a huge statement like girls can be equal to men. It's only political because it's 2023 and everything is.
__________________They started working on this a long time ago so to say it's related to any current events is wrong. Amy Schumer was going to play Barbie with Diablo Cody writing it -- a much different movie. That I would have loved. |
