I think it all depends on the industry. My job is fully remote and I'm 100% confident that it would never be outsourced.

And the Federal government won’t hesitate to come in and help out wherever it can.

Exactly how it should be.

Yet the rhetoric from State leaders and some voters will continue to push succession and Biden government is socialist Marxist pedo commie bad!!

Let’s imagine that the US were to split up, how bad would life be for millions and millions of Red state people ? Theyd be 3rd world countries immediately.

Will the same people who protested virtual learning during covid throw the same tantrums over this ???

Oh Mississippi, Don't worry, blue state money will come and bail your ass out as usual.

I don’t think it’s helpful discourse to refer to federal money as “blue state” or “red state.”

The value of a union is the sum of the parts. End of story.

Of course not. These are red state voters. They deserve all the help the federal government has to give. It’s when a hurricane tears up NY/NJ that those godless baby-killing tax-and-spend libtards should drown in the ocean.

Says the blue stater who lives in a lawless, poop-strewn, urban hellscape. Do you even realize that DC literally burned to the ground in the summer of 2020?

I think it should be part of the discourse if you have blue states overall giving more and getting less than red states overall. It wouldn't be that big of a deal if many (in some - most) red state voters didn't, I dunno, want to overthrow the Federal government, abolish the IRS, bitch and moan when California needs help with fires or earthquakes, what are they saying in AZ now, fire the federal government?

It's not helpful in the fact that this lopsidedness will never change, but I so think it's information that people should know.

Hinds County MS where Jackson is and where the flooding occurred is in fact very blue. Jackson itself tips blue, so your narrative falls flat anyway, but there's people in need, lots of them, and our federal government should step up and help regardless of what state these people reside in.

“Discourse” is not healthy when broken into this binary “us vs. them” conversation. I’m not sure what your “top 10s” are here… define “most/least dependent”?

Either way, your point is toxic. Do we throw out the 45% of the population in Texas, a “not bottom dependent” state, because it’s binary color is red and not blue? What about Texas’s key contributions to engineering? Energy sector? You don’t have your fucking potatoes without Idaho. They’re maybe “dependent” but they have a role. You’re taking that shit for granted. We have what we have because we are 350 million people across a vast land. The power of unionism, be it the US, the EU, Russia, or China, is what gives you access to so many sectors with so many contributions.

Sorry, but you’ll always be able to “rank” someone by performance. Not only do I not think the “dependence” argument even holds up all that well on red vs. blue states (certainly not after you adjust for “redness” or “blueness” vs. population), but I think it’s toxic rhetoric.

I think you're missing the point. I agree with you. Everyone that needs aid should get it, we work best as a whole functioning unit.
What I'm saying is that many millions of people (who mostly reside in "red" states, that want to overthrow the federal government and abolish the IRS, begrudge libtard blue states getting disaster relief, and are expecting a civil war in the near future are the ones having toxic rhetoric.

I was merely underscoring the comment before me that if Trump voters want a civil war and to secede from the union, they would be in dire straights.

https://twitter.com/atrupar/status/1564617652471054338

trump's unhinged rants on twitter typically came a few days before some big shoe dropping, so hey, labor day surprise amirite?

holy shit, that's around 130 posts in 2 hours. Another shoe may by about to drop, OR, and I wish I were kidding here. But the usage is so low on Trump's fake little Twitter site that he is personally trying to increase the traffic. I mean, it seems ridiculous until you realize who we're talking about here.

He doesn't care about how Truth Social is doing. He just moved money there and the DOJ is currently investigating that too.

If my post came across that i don’t want the Feds to help all states that’s not what i meant.

I believe it is the role of the federal government for this very assistance.

The issue i have is that some people in these states would gladly blow my head off because I’m a liberal and support a tyrannical government.

As soon as one of us talk about social programs or higher taxes or whatever, we are met with such scorn and hatred.

Yet when the other side talks about defunding everything above the state level and how liberals are the devil, we sit and take it.

It’s the lack of appreciation and gratitude that is tiresome

We are all in this together

There does appear to be lots of rumors regarding bad news for Trump (meaning some actual Justice being served)…..but we’ve really heard all of this before.

I think if the majority of GQP (outside of the MTG and other hardcore insurrectionists) go silent on him it means they are trying to distance from whatever is about to drop

So the DOJ response was just turned into the court to say a special master isn't needed. Along with pictures of the labeled Top Secret documents.

Breaking news on all the news channels going through all of it. I flip to Fox news and they are outraged that NY is making a rule that people under 21 can't buy whip cream.
