My take is the younger Cuomo bro was a pure media commentator, not a journalist. It would give him some latitude to do whatever it was he was doing for the older Cuomo bro, for better or worse.

He’s absolutely just a commentator, not a journalist. However, people like him are connected to journalists who feed him with info. All of those talking heads like Cuomo and Hannity and what have you are just propaganda ministers. Some of them (like Lemon and Watters) are both a commentator and a journalist, for better or for worse (ok, for worse). It’s your Coopers and Riveras and Tappers who are in fact journalists, even if you know their opinions and hear their commentary.

Yeah, in general I agree. There can be a gray area, like many things in the real world. But like that old Supreme Court justice said on pornography, 'I know it when I see it.'

Tapper's a straight journalist and that's how his program is geared.

The most annoying things about DC protests, aside from when they turn into insurrections and all, is that everyone blocks traffic on Pennsylvania Avenue and Constitution in downtown, this fucking up the commutes for real actual people trying to get their jobs, while the congresspeople and their staff just zoom right in to work.

Like go block traffic on New Jersey and D and leave me alone. What am I going to do, call my Senator?
