Nevermind. I said what I needed to say earlier in this thread, no need to rehash.

I respect a person's right to end his/her life. The life belongs to the person alone. I don't encourage suicide. I think a lot of times it is not sufficiently thought out. I think for many young people who make this choice, it is a mistake. Mosr haven't learned yet whether they can develop the coping mechanisms they need or the the perspective to know whether their pain is temporary or chronic.

Suicide causes pain for those left behind. Confusion, anger, grief, guilt, betrayal. It leaves a horrible and powerful wake.

Would I support or encourage a nonterminal, a non-unbearable physical pain sufferer if I knew they were contemplating suicide? No. But I wouldn't judge them either.

The choice belongs to the person. It's not up to me to ask someone to continue in a life they consider unbearable. It's not up to me to choose the criteria that makes life worth living to the potential suicide.
