I have no idea how many members this site has but I think there would still be plenty without sexual harassers being encouraged to stay. Saying they're part of the reason the forum still exists is a bit of a stretch. Also, that "joke" was blatant sexual harassment so let's not minimize.

This conversation brings up an interesting point. In my opinion, you're nearly arguing that you feel perhaps emasculated by those two posters. That's not the same thing as sexual harassment. And though I don't feel that they're actually emasculating you, if you feel that way, you maybe should separate it from sexual harassment. Where someone sexually harasses you. Sexually. As in, in a sexual manner.

You can google the slang if you like. I've heard that comment used as a sexually harassing joke several times. There's no way to know for sure but maybe that was the point.

The context of it being posted in the thread celebrating the return of the member who was temporarily banned for sexually harassing me was also a factor.

The fact that the insults came right after I shared the personal information I did was another.

In any case, it was insulting and offensive as I've worked hard to make sure that I don't retaliate at their juvenile level for some time now.

That was what is now approaching a year ago and I posted it in response to the lovely comment: "What if Bono accidently introduces the song as "Red Hill Whining Clown" during the tour?

That was also after Mikal had straight up called me a Bitch just before.

No one seemed to have any problem with that....and the disrespect and rain down pile on had gone on for so long that I decided to return in kind. Try and say I was playing the martyr all you want but the mockery had reached to the level of harassment where I felt it was warranted to mirror the ignorance. As mentioned, it wasn't me to be that foul and I stopped after that.

Here's what i don't get. Redhill added some comments to this thread, which i thought were an interesting and valid addition. Not that they diminished or took away from what others were saying. But they were valid, weren't they?
They certainly attacked no one.
Since then he's been defending himself left and right as if he's abused someone. I don't get it.
And why take to the other thread and take the piss out of him? Knowing he'll read it. Other than to be an asshole. Or feel part of the gang.

Actually, if you read that post, I most certainly distinguished sexual harassment from emasculation. So which one is it? Do you feel sexually harassed, or emasculated?

But this is a big part of it. This is a poster that will make a statement, and then declare it infallible, any slight criticism is met with a bombardment of attack and martyrdom.
