If it is, then what the professor wanted the students to do was truly bizarre and offensive to those who care about Jesus. But there needs to be the professors' side to the story because I would like to know what was he trying to teach the students.
 
Pretty one-sided article, but I can't imagine what its purpose was or why you would suspend a student for refusing to take part in it.

I agree Pearl. I would like to know the objective of the lesson.

And, would the teacher use another religious figure to make the point.
 
If the story is correct
We will be hearing about it for a long, long time

Again, if correct this teacher is the one that will learn a lesson

Pretty spot on.

I see no issue in the lesson being taught, but if it offends someone that person has every right to not participate. Whoever is responsible for the suspension should be corrected and reprimanded.
