I noticed that even politicians such as Sanders or AOC seem to be playing with this. Sometimes they clarify the distinction, sometimes they just accept being called Socialists. But what they propose is no Socialism.

There's even a difference in language. No one in Europe calls it Democratic Socialism. It's called Social Democracy (also not Socialist Democracy).

But all this ignores the real reason why that guy had to use bow and arrow of course: It's because Greta Thunberg and the radical environmentalism. You just can't fire a gun anymore, these days.

This second sad story is long but deserves being read through. The only thought I'm trying to get across, other than this being a regular weekend in too many American cities, is that most of the violence isn't being done with AR-15s or similar semi-automatic rifles.

I don't claim to have any good answers, for sure. But handguns in the wrong hands is where the body count continues to be. Week after week and month after month.

Not to give you the partisan schpeel but getting guns out of the hands of bad guys is a perpetual cycle. They are only in their hands to take away because they’re available.

Get guns off the streets by stopping the sale so freely. Yes, violence with an AR-15 is in fact symbolic and when one crowd says get rid of them, it’s in fact a copout. It’s do-nothing action. We only need guns because people have guns.

Well since it's Texas, I suppose we don't have to worry about Alex Jones and his ilk calling it a hoax perpetrated by crisis actors.
But It wasn't because the 18 year old had a gun, cause guns are safe and only used for hunting and protection in the great state of Texas. The kid would have otherwise clearly strangled those 14 kids instead, and just as quickly.

Can't imagine what the families of those kids are dealing with. Just horrible.
