Did Obama say, "'I will change the world"?

or did he said: "Let me state the obvious again, we need to win Virginia on the 4th of November and with your help we're going to win and bring real change to Washington."

He has said a lot of things
I think some of them are kind of silly.

But sometimes we need read these articles with sensational headlines to see if they are exactuations.

I don't think I recall him ever saying "I" in his stump speeches in such grand terms. In all the stump speeches I have heard him give, he uses "we" or "together" the most. For example he ends his speeches with "together we can change the country and change the world" ...
If this is silly then bring it on.
He inspires me.

If the words attributed to Obama are correct, then the statement is precisely accurate.

Any US President that assumes power in 2009 will indeed change the world.

Of course, whether that change is for the worse or the better remains to be seen.

I don't care too much about his rhetoric. His stances and plans are what counts.
