Yeah, its just so hard to believe two people, who seemed normal in High School going to the prom and being on the wrestling team and such, could turn out to do this without any outside influence.

And its scary since it seems like that could be the case.

I just have never seen anything like it. An entire city shut down and closed off for a teenager. Even after 9/11, people were allowed to eventually take trains out on NYC later in the day. Of course its very different, its just shocking.

Its comforting that they were able to act so swiftly to make sure they dont escape though.

The Toronto Sun (admittedly a rag) has published an interview with the men's aunt who lives in Toronto. She said the older one had a 2-year-old daughter.

Latest was that a bunch of police up and moved from one area of Watertown to a different area sirens blaring.

They said they have been doing a door to door sweep of the area and have covered 60-70% thus far. Not sure how he could have left the area with so much police/federal presence but anything is possible.

Something must have happened that changed these two and led them into this. The uncle said:

She's on CNN right now, from CTV. She said the pictures were staged, by "whoever needs it". She also mentioned something about the two buildings and 9/11. She said something about being a lawyer, having an LLM.

Earlier on radio they said the mother was still here in Mass and had been arrested a little while back(last year or 2011, I can't recall) for shoplifting(like $1,600 worth of stuff) in Natick.
I assume authorites have located her, but haven't heard anything further on her.

I just sat down to lunch and flipped on WEEI. Michael Holley read the make/model/plate of the car he may be driving. Then they just updated that to say the car has been found.

I can't believe he hasn't done anything stupid to end up in a car chase or shoot out. That makes me think he's already dead
