I agree about the sound though, I thought a LP w/ Neck PU would be much more fitting.

He has about 3 seconds from the outro of Zooropa to the intro of COBL. That's not enough time to change guitars.

Yeah, I mean he used the Les Paul for the couple of ZooTV performances, so I assume that's the guitar he used in the studio as well.
I thought I saw Dallas lurking behind him at the end of the song in those clips, so I thought maybe they put together a real quick guitar change while that weird sound played at the end of the song.
