I played a mean version of With or Without You with no delay, no infinite sustain/ebow, and no clue .

I was playing a cheapo Peavey Predator through a Fender practice amp (borrowed from a neighbor). I had the JT playing and I played right along with it.

It's amazing how far I've come on guitar now that I think about it. I remember the days when an "upstroke" completely eluded me. I've had no lessons. I just taught myself by online tablature and U2 and Dave Matthews cds.
