What synth is used to make the submarine/sonar "ping" sound in Elevation and STiaM?
By STiaM I mean Stuck In A Moment. Here's an MP3 of what I'm talking about:
__________________U2_Gorillaz_SubmarinePing - eSnips, share anything Is there any free sound font or VST synth I can download which would sound like this? I created one myself by sampling a submarine ping and turning it into a sound font, but the problem is that the note gets faster and faster the higher you go... |

Maybe try talking to the guy who creates the Live u2 backing tracks. He has a link to his email at the bottom of his page. I know the sound your talking about is in the Stuck in a moment track he created, I don't remember if its in the two elevation versions he has...i'm pretty sure it was in one of them though. Anyways try this guy, he might be able to tell you what he uses.
Heres the link to the site. // U2, The Who, Stereophonics & Coldplay Guitar & Piano Backing Tracks // |
