It seems that if Digitech has introduced a new Whammy pedal. Apparently, it has true bypass switching and a chords mode. Does anyone have anymore info?

Hmm, the true bypass I like, of course the WH-4 can be modded for that as well. The chordal pitch shifting, I dunno, part of the charm of the Whammy was its glitchyness.

Good thing is that now probably the price of 2nde hand WH-4's will drop.

I haven't seen one up close yet. I will have to check one out when I am at Guitar Center next (should be in the next few weeks)

The chordal thing sounds interesting.

As it doesn't have the same chip as the WH1 - But I imagine it will still sound similar to the 4 - Not having the dirtier tone of the WH1.

I'm really hoping its better than the 4.

The guy from Digitech told me the difference between the WH1 and WH4 is the 16 vs 24 bit chip.

Hence, why the WH4 is a little TOO clean.

Some scoff but when I worked with a tribute Edge, after using his WH4 and then my WH1 - he became a believer.
