type and amount of distorsion in vertigo?

What type of distorsion uses the edge in vertigo, i think that could be a ts9 with a lot of overdrive, with the bridge coil. Could be another distorsión in the palm mute part?

Edge used the Line 6 DM4 on the 'Tube Drive' setting -- the distortion on the album is one of the best tones i've ever heard

I've gotten a really similar tone using a tube screamer on top of an overdriven vox ac30. Its too bad line6 doesn't sell the rack mount distortion units to ordinary people.
