Hello all,
I figure this is probably the best forum to post this - On "The First Time", just before and during the 3rd verse all the way through the end of the song, there is a synthy string sound that to me is just "bone-chilling". I've heard it on quite a few U2 tunes, but it really seems to stand out on this song. Does anyone know what synthesizer was used to create that sound? I've seen U2 using a Yamaha SY77 in the studio, but then I know that Brian Eno did a lot on the Zooropa album too so it very well could've been him. Any ideas?
