does anyone do the Edge's bend and stomp move when you play? bending your back and lifting one foot up and down to the rythym?

Yes, I'm ashamed to say. Although lately, since I've joined a Radiohead coverband I've added the Jonny Greenwood swaying motion to my repertoire. And when I'm playing metal and have the room I'm prone to doing the Scott Ian stomp around.

It's strange how you can pick up these mannerisms without even actively trying. Before you know it you are bending and stomping.

When I try to do it to bend my back into a S it hurts my back but when I preformed I suddenly not knowing was doing it!

But I never got to do the whole foot thing..

Delay effects are time based. Edge initially did this so that Larry could see the delay time and help keep things together.

Edge still does it some but with in-ear monitors and programmed tempo count-in's, he does it less now.
