The Edge's '66 Rickenbacker 330/12 string. This pic from last nights show in Daly City, CA

Edge seems fond of the mid-'60's RICS.

I have heard he owns at least one 6-string RIC, although I don't know of his using a 6-String live or on record.

Amongst the mid-60's Fire-glo and Maple-glo, he's got Jet-glo 330 and 360 12-strings.

i personally like the sounds from Ricks but I hear that necks are very thin and they are often expensive, which really makes me hesitate even considering buying these guitars (are those thin necks playable?). Are there good electric 12 strings in production right now that's not as expensive as Rickenbackers?

Btw, nice pic. I see some tapes on th pickguard and all that; I actually like to see these subtle things artists do to their guitars like marking, taping certain controls (or even removing them?), etc.

Nice Rickenbacker's the edge is using.. ive been watching The Beatles stuff recently
its all there Vox amp's, Rickenbacker ,Gretsch, Epiphone, Gibson :)
