Signal Splitters / Joiners for shimmer effects?

I have the fantastic "Verbzilla" pedal for my shimmer effect. However, as I also use distortion in a lot of sounds, I'd like to find a way to separate the shimmer from the distortion, and possibly even route the two signals to separate amps.

Can anyone recommend a simply Y splitter to split the signal in two? And could such a splitter be reversed to join two signals back into one after the shimmer has been applied?

I'm looking for one which doesn't alter the sound in any way when split.

Radial Twin City is very, very good. It's buffered, so the spit signal isn't weaker to both amps. Lehle is the best, but pricy.

I run a line out of the bypass on my boss tu 2 into a volume pedal and then a verbzilla and then into a vox pathfinder 15,and it works great.
