Question about Miss Sarajevo

There's been a lot of talk about Bono singing this in 2005, but what I'd like to know is was this in a different key compared to 1995 version or is Bono actually hitting the same note as Pavarotti does on the original ?

It's the same key. I compared the bass lines from the original to the live version on Vertigo, and the key is the same. I figured as much; Bono was hitting a pretty impressive note.
