n00b question

ok, this may be the rong thread, but im wondering if thers sum possible way to tune my electric guitar into bass tuning

Uh, there isn't. The tuning is the same, the only difference is that the bass is tuned a few octaves lower. You can't get that on a guitar because the strings are way too thin and the neck's too short.
For bass songs you can just use the upper four strings of the guitar (EADG). It won't sound as low, but the notes are good.

You can get a bass guitar for pretty cheap, or if you don't want to do that, get a multieffects pedal that has a pitch shifter and shift it down one octave. That can get you convincingly close.

Or use a Digitech Whammy pedal set to 2 octaves lower. I have used that for a number of home recordings. Does the job in a pinch.
