Does anyone know if this pedal can be used for Bass. I keep hearing Tim Commerford (Audioslave)talk about them as if they're great but the only ones i can find say "guitar". I'm confused. I would prefer a Shin-ei Companion (a la Colin Greenwood) but even on eBay, prices are astronomical.

The marshall guv'nor is a guitar pedal. You could you it for bass, not sure how it would sound though.

I would check this out. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Bass/Effects?sku=480206

A buddy of mine has this. It really makes your bass come alive. It makes your bass sound like you have active electronics. It's a Tech 21 SansAmp Bass Driver. If you turn up the drive on it you can get a nice distorted bass sound. Check out the sound clips on Musician's Friend.

Nice. But holy smokes, look at the price  Are the Boss OBD-3 or Ibanez Phat Hed pedals and good?
