Lennon's is probably closer to Edge's than the regular Casinos. Lennon's was a 1965-ish. Edge's a 1962.

With the Casino, it seems that have 5 choices.
  • Regular Casino
  • Elitist (Pricey but nice)
  • Lennon (In tobacco or natural)
  • Lennon Inspired (cheaper than the Lennon)
  • 1961 Reissue.

1961 reissue is the only one that has the finish similar to Edge's Royal Tan / Ice Tea finish but the headstock logo and such aren't the same. Plus the version with the right finish doesn't come with the Tremotone tremolo. And it's pickups have the black and not chrome pickup covers.

Seems a regular Casino could be refinished to look like Edge's. Add the Tremotone tremolo and one could get the look right.

Sound? I'd have to research what electronics each has to see which would be better. Seems the electronics and wood quality on the Elitist and Lennon would be better quality.
