Hi,

Normally, one would place modulation and echo/delay effects in the effects loop of an amplifier (after the preamp), but does the Edge do this too?
Everybody's always talking about a whole chain of effects which at the end go into the AC30.

Also, does Egde only use his AC30 clean, and use pedals for distortion / overdrive? Or does he use the AC30 distortion as well? I believe he uses the Top Boost channel, but is that always the 'overdrive' channel?

Thanks a lot

Stan.

The old ones have none and most of Edge's AC-30's are vintage. The new ones might have a send/return loop, and Vox has this AC-30 speaker/top combination that has it for certain.

Thanks, I take that as all the effects are before the preamp. (It would be very easy to build an FX loop into an amplifier I'm sure, I did it myself).

Anyone know about the gain settings on the Vox?
