Are Fender Hot Noiseless pickups any good for Edge tones, or in just general good choice for a Strat?

In my opinion, there are better ways to go than the Fender Noiseless.
Check out Kinman pickups which are excellent. Also Shur guitars make great pickups. Shur also has a backplate system that eliminates hum (like the Fender noiseless) but does not effect the tonal quality of the pickups. That system can be used with and pickups.

How about those samarian kobalt pickups from Fender? How good are they?
