I really like how he plays it on the boston dvd and the slane castle one. i think its alot of palm muting basically i dunno. id just like to get it right.

I actually dont believe theres any muting, he just uses a lower volume and changes his effects kinda thing, you can get a close sound jusy changing the knobs on the amp :)

B--3------0------0
G--2--2--0--2--0
D--0--2--2--2--2
A--0--0--2--0--2

thats how I always play it...however most tabs for it only give you:

B--3------0
G--2--2--0
D--0--2--2
A--0--0--2

then the other riff at the "and a red guitar" part, etc:

E-------------------------
B--2-2-2-2--------------
G--3-3-3-3--2-2-2-0-2
D--0-0-0-0--2-2-2-2-2
A--0-0-0-0--0-0-0-2-0
E-------------------------

again this part is a little different than most tabs, but compare them...I think mine sounds more correct :)

not sure :/

EDIT: Then again, it doesnt really matter, because they tune it to match Bonos voice mostly

At Slane, I think he might play open strings between the second and third played chords.

3000
3200
0202
0002

Something in that area.

and what its the correct setting to obtein the palm mute tone? amp? effect? thanks
