Black Strat (Rosewood fingerboard)?

While there is always the chance that something used in a video is something Edge actually used on the song, it's seemed that there are loads of video where that isn't the case.

Two interesting videos (interesting to me) that come to mind are the "Two Hearts Beat As One" and "New Years Day" promo clips.

In both, Edge has a black Stratocaster, smaller headstock w/rosewood fretboard.

I don't remember seeing this (these if they are indeed two different) Strat(s) before or since.

i've often wonderd about these guitars aswell, They are actually different guitars as the Two Hearts Beat as One guitar has a large headstock (70's?) & the New Years Day Strat has a small headstock with a Fender Transition logo (64/65?) Maybe they were just Hired in guitars for the video shoots?

Seems possibel that they were hired for the shoot.
