Black Strat Pickups

Hi all i just orderd A squier strat that looks very similar to the edge's black one! Would it be possible to put the same pick up's?

Yep it would be possible. I don't know what pickups to go for to get as close as possible but hopefully someone here does. Nice Strat btw! Squiers aren't at all bad. Have had a couple myself and currently gig with a Squier as my 2nd guitar.

Sorry, Squiers are not quality. Just my humble opinion.

There are various quality Stat replacement pickups. Some are more expensive than others.

Kinman Woodstocks are some of the better I've heard.
Fender 57/62. Great tone and price friendly.

We just put a set of Kinman Woodstocks in Chas' Strat (guitarist with Joshua Tree in LA) and it sounds great.

The Kinman's are pricey but they sound great. $254.00 (+$15.00 for black). They cost a bit more to get w/out the Kinman logo on them. Plus shipping... They came out to near $300.
